Fisher Bay Bible Camp Work Day & Walkathon The FBBC Work Day was a great success with many bodies helping to get the camp in order for the next month when the campers will arrive.  Some framing was started but is still in need of some more work to get the basement in running order for camp staff to use.  If you are able to donate some time to allow this project to continue, help would be appreciated.  The Walkathon was held on Sunday, June 6th with a good amount of walkers and bikers participating.  $7000 was raised to help with the cost of running camp this summer.  Thanks to all those who participated and donated. We are still in the process of finishing the dining hall basement and many donations are still needed to complete this task.

Can You Help Us Out? Fisher Bay Bible Camp Board is starting a "Canadian Tire Money" Fundraiser.  Our vision is that churches will come along side and help us raise money in this fundraising effort.  The link below has a label that can be printed out and placed onto jars.  Put the jars in your church foyer, Sunday School Rooms, etc to collect Canadian Tire Money.  Our hope is to raise enough funds to purchase a canoe for camp this summer.  Of course, as we look forward to the summer camping season, donations in "real dollars" are also accepted to either the general fund or building fund!  You can call or email Juliann Thiessen to make arrangements for the big money transfer!  (ph.204-372-6990, jteasin@mts.net) 2010_Canadian_Tire_Canoe_Fund_pdf.pdf  [14.65K]

Treasured Moments: 2010 Camp season is quickly approaching.  There are many costs involved in running an exciting camp program and facility.  We look forward to completing the dining hall basement project.  As well, many purchases will soon be made to prepare for the upcoming camp season.  We strive to keep our camp fees affordable to most and therefore we depend on donations to operate.  We invite you to join in the ministry of Fisher Bay Bible Camp by donating to the General Fund or to the Building Fund.

Other Fundraising Options  If you are unable to attend our work weekend and walkathon due to distance or schedule you may want to organize your own church fundraiser for Fisher Bay Bible Camp.  Some Ideas:  ·        Run your own walkathon/bikeathon in your area.  ·        Camp service: Riverbend Bible Church (Dallas) recently held a morning service that focused on the ministry of Fisher Bay Bible Camp and took an offering for the camp.  ·        Work Day: Vita Bible Church is planning a Work Day where participants are sponsored. ·        Organize a golf tournament or fishing derby etc. For more information feel free to contact Juliann Thiessen (Treasurer) at jteasin@mts.net, or 204-372-6990.
